Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Non-consent of using shingled roof pictures on the web.
I recently had my house shingled. I was informed that the roofer had took pictures of my roof before and after the shingling. He will be using the pictures of my roof for his web site in which he advertizes. Does he need my consent to display these pictures or can he show them?

Although the roof is probably non-descriptive of your house and its location, so it should not be readily identifiable as your, which should allow him to use the pictures, he should have obtained your consent. He cannot identify you or the address without your consent.
