Legal Question in Business Law in New York
I obtained a Business Equipment Company to Lease a Copier/Fax. The machine was delivered while I was on vacation (less than two weeks ago) and the owner of the company signed a "satisfaction" letter for the Business Equipment Company, that provided the Finance Company to release the money to them. However, the copier does not meet the specifications and is not satisfactory to our office needs. Now I have a machine that is useless and a 63 month contract. Do I have any leverage to have this contract broken?

I would have to read the contract to provide an answer. However, based on the facts given in your question, I would answer doubtful. Furthermore, in most of these situations, the leasing company and the company supplying the copy machine are different companies. You would have a continuing obligation to pay the lease. You may want to contact the copy machine company to service or fix the machine.
