Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Parking garage attendant dented car. Claim filed before leaving.
We parked for one hour in a Manhattan Garage. We paid the $14.00 and when they drove the car back down to us we noticed a good sized dent in the right fender. We filed a claim with the attendant and he told us to fax the damage estimate to a number he provided. Their main office has denied the cliam twice.
For $800.00 is this worth pursing ?
We have been in contact with them over the past 2 months how much time do we have before we need to file suit.

Of course it is. Small claims court naming the proper entity in the boro in which it happened.
Bring 2 damage estimates or have a mechanic in court.
Good Luck
