Legal Question in Business Law in New York

I got a phone call from a electricity agent last month. He cheat me in by saying he's my current electricity supplier and want to renew the contract. I said I don't have authority and what so ever to do that. Then he said no problem, this is a annual renew thing, anyone can do that. Then he recorded my voice and make me asked few question. He speaks so fast I cant understand the content and he said It's just a renew don't worry nothing will change. So I followed his guide. Then 2 week later I got a new contract from unknown electricity company and he said if I want to cancel the contract need to pay early termination fee When the contract start day is on next month.

Call your current service provider and ask them to hold off on the switch and then call the Attorney General's office and speak to someone there about what happened and ask for advice.
