Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Power of Attorney in Small Claims Court
Can Power of Attorney be granted to party A by party B; allowing party A to sue party C in small claims court for wrongdoing which was done by C to B? Assume all parties are not attorneys.
(Sorry for the parties, couldnt figure out a clean way to write out the question.)

The answer in NO.
The cause of action needs to be transferred through an assignment. The original party still needs to be a witness to the vents and circumstances iff party B has no personal knowledge.
Good Luck.
