Legal Question in Business Law in New York

i believe that this producer took advantage of my situation

back in 2004 while i was on dialysis a producer by the name of Kate dawson contacted me and would be interested in doing a documentary on me because I was on dialysis and my family wasn't helping in any way. so we agreed to do it. the last time i saw this woman was last year. I recently--name removed--mailed her and asked her what was happened with the documentary she said it was shelved for now, but when I went sniffing around on the internet to find her low and behold i found my picture with my mothers picture on the internet. there is more but you get the drift. let me know what i can do and If i can do anything. thank you ce

You may have rights in this production, unless you waived your rights. The question of damages is another issue depending on how the producer used it and for what purpose.

You have the right to control how and where your image is used, unless you have signed a contract relinquishing that right.
