Legal Question in Business Law in New York
question regarding returned funds
an individual provided me with funds to create 2 LLC's for him, however he has failed to provide me with important information to complete it. now he is demanding i provide him a refund rather than continue the work but the money has been spent. he claims he will file criminal and civil charges against me.

More information would be required to determine what, if any, liability you may have. If someone is threatening either criminal or civil litigation against you then you should consult with an attorney to see what your rights are and to determine if you are on solid legal ground with your position. Don't wait until you are already in court.
