Legal Question in Business Law in New York
removing myself ''officer'' from a c - corp
I live out of state & I'm the Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer of a c-corp., my partner who lives in NY is the President. Their is no activity or assets currently but my partner refuses to dissolve the corp. & I don't trust the corp. Attorney or Accountant, they are are my partners hand picked flunkies & he has them in his hip pocket & with me being out of state I'm just a phone call that they blow off when I call & they don't respond to my letters. My question is can I file something myself with the state to remove myself as a officer of this corp.?
