Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Return policy
I purchased a car starter as a gift for a relative for Christmas. They ended up buying a new car a few weeks later with one already installed. There is absolutely no return policy on the receipt but now they are refusing to take it back or issue any credit. It's never been opened or used. Is this legal?

Re: Return policy
Yes. If the agreement did not indicate a return policy, then the seller has the right to demand payment for the full purchase price.
