Legal Question in Business Law in New York

Reverse Discrimination/Wanting me out
In a City/Privately funded job-a game played-felt like the twilight zone-and now am jobless.I befriended a woman who was black like the exc dir. and most employees.While I was on Vacation for 4 days-she and the exc dir became a team?? When I got back I was told all the changes and meeting that were held in my absence and in my depart. Angry, I began writing a letter of resignation. There have been issues before. In shortest form the note which wasn't intended to be sent was given to the Main Director and after days of feeling a very ''strange'' climate at work and being told about meetings that would clear things up that never happened. Along with abusive threats. The exc dir called me in her office and said -the main dir has accepted your letter of resign. ''Youdon't have a lot of stuff do you? You can get out of here quick -you need to.'' I protested and then simply packed my stuff and left as employees looked on some shocked and some obviously knowing and in on it. aRE THERE ANY LEGAL IMPLICATIONS HERE?
