Legal Question in Business Law in New York
need to know rules pertaining to LLC'S
I am a partner in an llc. (or, I was told that)... I first need to know if a person can be named in an llc, or removed from one without his written permission or knowledge???

You can't become a member of an LLC without your permission but you can possibly be stripped of your membership without your knowledge assuming the operating agreement for the LLC provides the same. of course, this assumes you are party to the op agreement in the first place. Complicated in some ways.
