Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Small Business Credit cards!
Hi,
i want to know, i'm getting in the
mail a lot of good offers for a small
business, like credit cards etc., may i
apply for it before i've legally filed my
business? meaning, that i haven't
set up a coorporation now for my
business and its not a business so
far.
also, may be a few tips how to
choose a good credit card for a small
business.
really appreciated in advance,

Often the card holder agreement will make the memebers or officers personally liable for the debt. Be on notice.

Mr. Groezinger is correct and you will be personally liable for all business debts incurred before you properly set up a company anyway. I like the AmEx small business card but you will have to shop around with an eye to interest rate, other fees, when terms change, etc.
