You may wish to contact your local chamber of commerce. You need certificates of occupancy; local permit for your business; permit for any sign display of the business; liability insurance; an attorney to either draw up your lease or review the one afforded you by the landlord; corporate name (incorporation) to circumvent personal liability; application for any bank loans; accountant to set up your books and file necessay forms should you wish to hire employees and pay applicable business corporate taxes, etc. Furthermore, you had better do a thorough survey of the area where you intend to set up your business for demographics; prior business successes and failures similar to yours; rent trends and general business trends in the State and District where you wish to set up business.
The above is simply a suggestion; you may wish to pursue the topic further on line, in different forums.
A very broad question. You should resubmit and explain the nature of the business that you are starting.
