im starting my own sex toy business. I will be buying toys at wholesale then doing home parties. What exactly do I need to start this?

Several things to consider... (a) incorporating your business to protect you from personal liability (b) obtaining authority to collect sales tax (if applicable) (c) obtaining an exemption from paying sales tax on your wholesale purchases (d) getting a tax ID number. Then you can go ahead and start making your purchases. This list is not meant to be all-inclusive, but it's a start.
