''statute of limitations''
hi!.. here is the situation and question. My utility co. has been over charging my electric bill account for over 24 years. Having acknowlegde this, they have chosen to reimburst me for six of the twenty five years of overcharging. They claim that six years is the maximum that they can repay for the overcharge because customers billing accounts records are kept in file for only six yrs. I find this settlement unfair and as well as their statute of limitations. can someone please tell me if I can challenged this...thanx kevin

They may be correct as the staute of limitations expires. That said, if you sue them, they may pay rather than get bad press.
