What is the Statute of Limitations for a lawsuit on Credit Card Debt in NYS? What is the Statute of Limitations on putting this debt on the debtor's credit report?.
Note; debt old and paid but nasty collection agency

the statute of limitations for a contract action is 6 years however you may have a lawsuit under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act against the collection agency
