Legal Question in Business Law in New York

Sue NY State

NY State implimented new fishing regulations last year and put me out of business. I had an exclusive frozen bait for 16 years and sold it in NY for all those years. I have seen no proof that bait causes any problems. APHIS told me they didn't even know if NY had tested the bait. I was told by the federal government that they could not help me with any assistance that this was NY State and I needed to pursue the State. This took my income and if you are in business for yourself you can not get unemployment. So, I am financially ruined personally and in business. Can I Sue NY State?

Re: Sue NY State

No. If the law was properly passed in accordance with the New York Consititution, you have no cause of action against NY.

Your relief is to contact your local NY State Assemblyman or State Senator to seek help.

Mike.
