Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Im on unemployment in New York after being laid off. I want to start a company to consult and re-sell merchandise while looking for a full time job. Am I at risk of unemployment being taken away? Fined? Are there alternatives, ie - incorporating in Delaware?

What you are proposing is illegal under unemployment law. Before you do anything, you may want to check with the unemployment office and see if they offer any assistant is starting your own business in lieu of looking for employment.
