Verbal Contract-Rental of Private Condo
Rented time-share condo from condo owner over internet, mailed entire fee of $600 twelve weeks out from rental date,
notified was unable to use ten weeks out and asked for refund through email message, owner stated he would not refund check for amount $600, no written contract ever signed and never discussed any cancellation policy or penalty, would like to know legalities of owner keeping money, owner resides in NY, condo in Aruba?

You will probably have to file a small claims suit in NY, in the County where the person resides. I hope you kept copies of internet ad and any e-mail or written responses plus a copy of your check.
