Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

Can't afford a Lawyer

My exhusband has brought me back and fourth to court and now he's bringing me to Supreme court in Nassau County before our Divorce Judge and i'm unable to hire an attorney due to that I am on Social Services and i'm disabled. I have called Legal Aid and they said they don't cover Supreme Court I have call Nassau-Suffolk Law Services and they said the same I have even called the Judge's Clerk and she told me then I have to represent MYSELF !! I don't know the law and he does have an attorney, i'm so scared of what will happen he's threating to send me to jail because I owe him money. Can I go to jail?? What do you think I can do to try to handle this? Any Help would be so greatly appreciated.
