case filed in federal court
what happens when a defendant in a racial discrimnation case continues to not provide requested documents for the past five years and the last thing I was told that a motion will be filed for court date

It appears that your attorney (this is assuming that you have an attorney) will file papers to compel the other side to produce the requested documents. The other side will have to file a response as to why the requested documents have not been presented to your attorney or they will have to produce the required documents. The other side may be required to pay your attorney's fees and costs for the filing of the motion.
