Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
what are my chances of suing a former friend who lied in sorned testamony that i comited aggrvated harrasment with the former friend, and i know deep down inside that iam inocent.the second question is if i win in civil court, what are my best chances in recovering my lost jobwages because of this former friends lies.

There is an immunity from civil suit for testimony in a court of law. The penalty for false testimony in a court of law is a conviction for perjury, a criminal offense, that is imposed by the presiding judge.
