Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
can one get discharged crimes taken off of their former FBI report? My criminal backgound checks are clean, however the former FBI report is hindering me from gaining applicable employment. I have three college degree(AS/BA/MSED) and I know my former FBI report has negated several employment opportunities. Can I get my arrest record taken off of the former FBI report if these crimes were dischrged?

It is possible, but in many instances you may end up having to hire an attorney to do this for you.
Much luck.
