Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
Hi. my driver's license has been suspended since 1991 and Motor Vehicles I was charged 2000 dollars that same year. I paid 500 dollars in 1991 towards the bill. Since then I have not paid anymore and I would like to find out if I still have to pay the rest from that time until now because I would like to get my license. Isn't there a law called statue of limitation that can expire in the state of NY for this? Help me.

The fine is considered a judgment which makes the State of Limitations inapplicable. The best that you can do is to apply for a driver's license and be prepared to pay the fine.
