Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
Employment Law
I worked at a local college as a temp from May 2007- December 21st 2007 under a supervisor who made racial jokes, called me racial names and made racial insults. I did not come forward because another temp woker that had a problem with this supervisor was fired after showing visibly that he was upset.
The insults continued and the supervisor begin to make these insults and jokes publicly. Another worker fed up with the treatment that I recieved went to the management team and the supervisor's employment was terminated.
Can I sue for discrimination?

Re: Employment Law
Not likely. You did not report it to management nor did they refuse to do anything about it. You do not indicate that they acted in a fashion consistant with a wrongful dismissal from the job after it had been reported.
YOu should contact an attorney just to make sure.
Good Luck.
