Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

Fight

OK heres the scenario, say there was a 17 year old boy who was illegally drunk underaged and got in my face ( Me being sober) he shoved me and i hit him once and walked away. Say he happened to get taken away in an ambulence and he broke his nose. Am i going to go to jail if he presses charges or was it self defense? is the illegal alcohol enough to drop the case? If he sued me, will he win ? or i do i have a strong case?

While the alcohol might be a factor in contemplating culbability and state of mind it won't be a complete shield in any kind of action, if you fear that civil or criminal action is imminent, it may be beneficial to talk to an attorney.
