Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
Foil request and redactions made
I've been harrassed repeatedly by a woman.Over a year threat via tele I was getting fired-public employ.Order of protect(OOP)issued stay away from my home, place of employ etc.OOP was valid until 7/03.6/03 I was questioned by Dep Insp Generals off.I was sub of investigation for year due to allegations made by this person.Requested copies via FOIL-rec'd 12 pg docs.what wasn't black out shows this person began allegations 2 wks prior to OOP but email is after issue of OOP.She repeatedly calls ask why nothing being done.I would have lost job, been in viol of law. Continuing to call my place of employ she was in direct viol of the OOP and in contempt of court. Her name is erased from all.Can I get her name released? She was commiting a crime continuing to harrass.
Decision by IGO,this person had nothing on file that I could have accessed (knew this and lodged false complaints of computer trespass, abuse of authority). All claims were unfounded.

You can try to go after her for intentional infliction of emptional distress, but that's about it. it's not clear what you stand to gain by having her name exposed, since you already know who she is.
