Harrassment of one coop shareholder towards another

A shareholder in my coop (I also own) keeps accusing me of making noise. The shareholder kept times and dates of the noise. It was proven that I was not at home during those times. The complaint was closed by the coop. The shareholder then accused me of tearing out pages from her journal...earlier I had been accused of lying. I find that I can no longer feel comfortable in my own apartment and wonder if there is any recourse that I can take vs. the coop or this shareholder. I feel harrassed!. This is the first time anyone has complained about me and I have lived here for over 15 years.

What you would like, apparently, is to silence your accuser, a restraining order would sound good, but remember there is a first amendment constitutional right to free speech, even annoying speech, and the courts are extremely reluctant to limit the constitutionally guaranteed right. It does seem to me that your cooperative board is now aware of her problem, anyone who goes through such trouble to "document" a misleading claim, is a troubled person, and they are now aware of that. I think you will see future claims by her, given short shriff by the board. Stay out of her way; that is probably your best course.
