i was arrested and charged with burg in the first and assult in the third i spent a month in jail went to my felony hearing then went to the grand jury and all the sudden all my charges were dropped i want to know who is responsible for reinbursing me for the time i served the state police did no inves. at all the just got a statment and arrested me even after people told them i lived there and i even had the keys to the residence that i resided at for a year

Who did you allegedly assault is the question?

overall, the DA has the right to hold you so long as they have credible evidence to support the charges... depending on the circumstances however, you may have a possible suit... However, I do not know all of the circumstances to make such an evaluation of this case...
