Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
I got a pink slip for being at a park after dark. I will be out of the country on the date of my court appearance. what needs to be included in the letter to the judge to ask for a different date? Are there any samples for letters of that kind online?

Send a copy of your travel plans to the office that is prosecuting the charge and the judge and ask for a different date.
