Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
Plantiff rights
I have filed a case against my previous employer through an attorney. Can I e-mail and ask for info as in informal discovery? Is it wrong or against law to communicate with the defendent before trial?

Re: Plantiff rights
If you are represented by counsel, then the defendant is not permitted to communicate with you. You are not the attorney of record.
Suggest you Email to your attorney.
