Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

My son was kicked off an adult football league because of an email I sent the owner about the poor coaching. Even though the team folded two weeks prior to that, the coach contacted the league's commissioner and had him kicked out of the league for a kicking incident that happened several weeks before the team folded (and my son played in games after that). Did the coach harrass my son (I am still his legal guardian) ?
