I can't stop the flow of ads

I am getting ads sent to my fax machine ten times a day from different companies. I have a small home-based business that I run part time from my house and my fax is getting ads from different fax numbers. I have sent fax messages asking them to stop, but they just keep coming. I am getting very angry, I have even changed my fax number twice. Where do I look if I want to have them sued for harassment. Can I even do that?

Harassing fax ads, like harassing phone calls, are not permitted. Therefore, you may very well have a cause of action against those repeatedly sending you these advertisements. An important question is whether it is the same sender or senders to whom you have given notice to cease? Also, have you saved copies of the notices you sent to them, i.e, what is the evidence of your notification to them to stop?
