Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

Verbal Harm

My father and stepmother are in a nasty divorce, which has been going on for several years now. Because of my stepmother's absurd demands (such as not allowing him to see their son, insane amounts of money that he does not have, and the like) my father will not grant her the divorce. According to Jewish law, the woman who cannot get the divorce may do whatever is necessary to get the husband to grant the divorce. One such company that gets hired to do deeds like this is ORA. They will even cause physical harm to get the divorce. At my nephew's circumcision ceremony yesterday, a man showed up and was handing out flyers about my father. Is there anything that I can do to prevent this organization from causing any further harm to him? This was not the first time it happened. At my sister's wedding the same flyers were handed out, and the company even went as far as demonstrating in front of the hospital he worked at, which fired him. Is there anything legally wrong with what they are doing?

Re: Verbal Harm

Depending on what the flyers say and where they are going to hand it out, it sounds like you might get an injunction to stop the harassment.
