Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

Wrongfull accusation

I own a daycare and a parent claims her kid was sexually abused and is taking legal action against my daycare

her story keeps changing and she has a social worker involved now...she claims the daycare doesn't provide good supervision because if it did the abuse wouldn't of occured

I'm worried So far daycare providers don't have much rights and I'm scared the law will side with her since she is the mother she has no proof since her kid say's 'i don't know' when you ask him when and who and where did it happen

she quit her job and i feel she just wants to sue because she is fed up working and is using her son as a means to easy money

can you refer me to another case where this has happened?

Your case will depend on evidence of the other party. From what I gather from your short narration of facts, it would seem that the complainant would fail in a jury trial; trust me, jurors can see through money seeking schemes. You need, however, to confer with your attorney regarding the evidence of the other party, if any. Further, your negligence should be proved by the other party to hold you liable on a tort claim.
