Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
New York- I work as a Salary employee in a large production plant. On average, I work 45-55 hours per week. There are some instances where the company (due to low production goals) will cut portions of the week out. During this time, I am forced to use my personal vacation time. I understand that Full-Time (due to company handbook) means 30+ hours per week on average. Since I average so much higher, is it legal for them to force me to use that vacation time?

This does not appear to be an illegal action by your company. Typically vacation time is benefit that does not vest as an inalienable employee right.
