CD-ROM license limitations
Our school library owns a single copy and license for a number of CD-ROM programs. Is it acceptable practice to install the executable file for such a program on multiple computers? The program cannot be run without the CD-ROM itself; therefore, only one user at a time can use the program, even though it can be run on any one of the several computers which house the executable file.

License terms for CD-ROM's
Whether you can install the reader program onmultiple computers will depend on the terms ofyour specific license. Many CD-ROM makersdon't own the reader software and license it themselves, and those licenses may preclude them from permitting you to load it on multiple machines. If the license terms are not clear, try contacting the publisher.
