Company cracked my source code
I have a software program that my developers developed that I sell to my clients. A rival company purchased the software under an assumed name, opened the software and decompiled it to try and prove that my company stole some of their code.
They have also hacked into one of my clients servers.
I have heard there is some anti-hacking law that makes all of this illegal this and my company and my client can sue them and collect damages.
Is this true?

Hacking is taken very seriously these days and, if the facts are as you portray them, it seems you may have a claim for damages. You also likely have a license for your software that prohibits decompiling and reverse engineering and you may be able to press claims for that.
