Employee's right not to have picture posted on internet

Could you tell me if an employee who works for a school have the right to refuse to have their picture put on a webpage? I am a teacher and do not wish to have my picture put on a webpage that I am told I have to create for my school.

There are a number of factors at work here. Do you work for a public or private school? What is the reason you don't want to have the picture online (not that important but might be useful to know)? You have a right of publicity and privacy rights that are implicated.
