Nude video posted on website without permission

I made a video for my boyfriend and uploaded it on the photobucket website and gave him my password so he could see it. I deleted it from my photobucket. A year later, I saw it on a porn website. I don't know what I should do. Is there anything I can do about getting them off? Do I have a case?

Re: Nude video posted on website without permission

First, you have to find out from your boyfriend if he gave the password out to anyone else. Second, you have to read the terms and conditions you agreed to in photobucket to determine if you gave the website has the right to sell your video. Assuming that your password remained private and you never gave permission to photobucket to use your video, you would have a case against photobucket and the porn site that used your video. You can seek an injunction to stop the porn site from distributing the video and you can seek monetary damages, and probably punitive damages.
