selling bootleg cds
how much trouble can you get into if you burn cds off the internet and then sell them. How many cds would you have to sell before you would be arrested.

I think you answered your own question. Its illegal, don't do it.
However, there is another aspect that I want you to consider, Hillel's golden rule. "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."
How would you like if you took the time, effort and energy to create something special and unique. There was potential for you to earn money, and for other people associated with your efforts to earn money. Now someone steals your unique and special gift. How would you feel.
