Legal Question in Technology Law in New York
Unauthorized use of personal image
An image of me was captured by an individual and it is now being displayed on an explicit web site.
Do I have any grounds for forcing the web site operators to remove my image from their site?
The site is run by a company in Canada.

Re: Unauthorized use of personal image
The last time I looked, there was still a
privacy law in New York, prohibiting the
commercial use of one's photo
This prohibition should cross borders although
enforcement may need the help of Canadian
Courts. The first step should be a
cease and desist letter from an attorney
