Homeowners righ to complete construction

I need to know what law gives homeowners the right to sue for money they had to spend to complete a construction project when the Contractors walks off the job. Because I had to complete my home after the contractor left me with a wood frame that was framed out. He had the plumbrs and electricians come in for rough work which he did not pay them despite the fact that I paid the contractor 93,100.00. I had to pay the plumber and electrician for the rough job and for completion please give me that law what can i do I'm lost

The law is contract and construction law. You need an attorney to review the facts and probably file suit against the contractor.

You need to have a construction lawyer on this. It sounds like you were a victim of a crime as well. Our office deals with cases where a crime has caused a civil or contract issue. This is not an issue that should be pursued Pro Se. There are issues of construction, consumer and fraud law involved.
