limitation on misdermeanor charge

Have been charged with unlicensed plumbing on a residential project in rockland county NY job was completed over three years ago. Is there a staute of limitation on this type of misdermeaner charge.

If the proceeding was not commenced within two years after commission of the charged misdemeanor, your lawyer can move to have it dismissed under CPL 30.10. Don't do this alone: hire an attorney.
