Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
I agreed to the terms of agreement with an online company without realizing that one of the things stated was an auto-renewal clause. The company is headquartered in Texas, I live in NY and my bank account is in UT. As far as my research shows Texas has no restrictions on auto-renewal however both NY and UT have laws that state I must be notified before my card can be charged. My question is does that apply to this situation since the company is based in Texas?

You must look at the terms of agreement that you entered into. The terms may state that Texas law applies - which would be binding.
