Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
Bought bmw car 10/23/13 dealer did not have title and sold me car anyway. Temp reg expired can not register car as title is not available still per dealership. Dmv says they will visit and fine them. Can I rescind contract? Live in nys. Thanks.

Yes, the dealer's inability to produce the title is a breach of contract. You will need to sue them, and you should do so soon before they vanish and the finance company takes everything.
