Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
class action settlements
Our law firm said we've won our class action suit.I am 1 of 4 people who started it.Because of this he said we were entitled to a premium payment each for sticking our necks out.Understandibly they dont want to discuss money.Do you know how they arrive at this premium payment?Is it a % of the settlement?Or is there a certain price that they try to get everyone in this situation.The case will settle for 20 million.Thank you

Whereas most of the class will probably receive a few dollars, you may receive a few thousand. But to be sure, you may want to ask your attorney.
