Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
My credit card co. credited us for a dispute on a dumpster due to the dumpster co. not responding to them. Now the Company says it is going to impose a lien on our home and we are responsible for their legal fees. Is that possible? We did not sign any paperwork?

They could put a mechanic's lien on your residence and I would take care of it to circumvent huge headaches in the future; either personally or through an attorney.
