Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
date of signature on contract
If you are supposed to notify by July 1 that you want out of the contract and your signature is dated 7 days after that date July 7 is the contrat still valid or does the date nullify it?

In general (depending upon the specific language of the contract) if you are given a particular date by which the contract must be cancelled your signature must be on or before such date.
