Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

Ebay Car Purchase

I won an Auction on Ebay with no reserve and the Car Dealership won't sell it. Ebay says they are required that I was in a contract between the Dealership and myself and he had to sell to me. Could someone recommend a Attorney.

You can find an attorney by going to the state bar website for the state where you are.

Re: Ebay Car Purchase

You agreed to ebay's terms and conditions when you made the bid, so you may want to consider their response. Is the car such a great deal that it is worth spending hundreds, or thousands, of dollars in attorneys fees to get it (if you could)?

My firm is in New York. Based upon the facts as presented, you may be entitled to specific performance (a forced sale). The location of the dealership is important in retaining counsel. You may contact me via email with the name and location of the dealer.

Good luck!
